I've been putting this off for months.
But everyone says "oh, you've gotta have a blog!"And I've got to admit that there have been times I had little insightful observations, or rants or stories or other coolness that I felt the urge to pass on to others, but weren't appropriate for Facebook or emails. And I can do that here.
I have been doing this website for about 2 years now. I have used it to publish stuff that I am interested in, and that I think others might find interesting, or at least intriguing. I am interested in all kinds of weird stuff. If you are still reading this, then I guess you are, too. To me, this website is a place to explore weirdness.
Ain't the interwebs wonderful?
I thought y'all might be interested in knowing the trends of interest on this site - I have certainly found it very interesting... especially if you are interested in Subjective Reality.
After the homepage, the most popular page on this site is my article "Objective-Subjective Reality." After that comes a rant I wrote in grad school, "An Epicurean Manifesto," in which I take modern academic philosophy to task for abdicating her ancient duties. But most popular in keyword searches are words relating to Subjective Reality - at a rate of about 7-to-1. It has been this way for about the last 6 months.
I find this fascinating that Subjective Reality should suddenly be the most popular topic, as it is my favorite topic, but I have avoided writing about it for some very silly reasons. But recently, I decided to up the attention and commitment to Subjective Reality (SR) in my own life, and that's when out of the 30 something essays I have posted, the most popular was the one, clear & away, was on SR.
So the other day, I posted another SR essay, making some clarifications and playing around with implications. I've gotten some feedback on SR that indicates a common confusion. I recommend that you check out that last link if you are unsure what I mean by SR.
Ok, well that's about all I can muster right now. I'll try not to be a stranger...
I'd love to hear from you guys, now that I have finally figured out how to put the comment boxes on my site.
